The foam nose ribs came pre made . We cut out templet locators using paper
templet's that came with the kit and the top of the crate it was packaged in.
The nose ribs are attached using black RTV and heald in place with
masking tape till the RTV cured 24 hours.
One thing the instructions didn't tell you to do was to replace some
round head rivets with countersink rivets so the new skins wound lay flush . I guess it was though of as common sense .
The left wing took the most time due to the stall horn and landing light
Wing tips fit up well without much fuss.
Above is the Knots2U flap gap kit installed and below is a look at the engine
with the four new cylinders installed and baffle repairs completed.
The STOL kit install instructions were just ok . The kit itself is well thought
out and fits very good. Without any paint touch up it took about 50 hours from start to finnish. The Knots2U flap gap kit
took about 10 hours to install.
